NACE Highlights W&M Office of Career Development and Professional Engagement
William & Mary’s Office of Career Development and Professional Engagement was featured in the latest edition of NACE Insights from the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE). Chief Careers Officer Kathleen Powell discussed the office’s successful move to the Office of University Advancement:
“We are one unit working toward career success and engagement,” Powell says. “The move to advancement elevated our work. Being a part of the President’s Cabinet has elevated our work. Vision 2026, being named the inaugural chief career officer, and leading the career cornerstone of the strategic plan has helped the community to understand the function and importance of career development for our students and our alumni.”
