We work on campus in Williamsburg, VA, of course, but we also have staff working and living across the country including in Arlington, VA; Los Angeles, CA; and New York City. Our regional model supports our constituents who live in these parts of the country, so we can bring William & Mary to them.

On campus and in Williamsburg
The Alumni House is under renovation! Once completed, our alumni engagement team will return to their offices from their temporary home in Discovery III.
Affectionately referred to as Disco I, this building is home to most of our executive team, frontline fundraisers, our lifetime philanthropic engagement & annual giving team and advancement services; the W&M Investment Trust team is also in this space. Our huge parking lot gives us ample parking! On-campus partners are always happy to come to meet us, since parking is so easy! Seventy-eight of our 180 colleagues work in this location.
Affectionately referred to as Disco II, this building is home to our university marketing and advancement communications (UMAC) team, which includes communications, digital marketing, video, design, events, stewardship and donor relations. Again, our shared parking with Discovery I provides ample parking. It’s a paved paradise! Thirty-two of our 180 colleagues work in this location.
Affectionately known as Disco III, this building is the temporary home of our alumni engagement teams. Sixteen of our 180 colleagues work in this location.
Many of our Advancement staff work directly with their school or unit colleagues and share office spaces across campus. Thirty-three of our 180 colleagues work in this location.
Outside of Williamsburg
This office is home to our D.C. Metro team, as well as our director of career networks, and our director of talent acquisition. It is located directly above the Ballston Metro Station, and is a quick drive from the W&M Washington Center, located at DuPont Circle in Washington, D.C. Five of our 180 colleagues work in this location.
The Virginia Institute of Marine Science (VIMS) is a 45-minute drive from campus at Gloucester Point. Our fundraising team for VIMS also works there, so they can be close to VIMS leadership, faculty, students and research teams. Seven of our 180 colleagues work in this location.
Our Western US Regional Fundraising team works out of floating office space in Southern California. Currently we have one team member in this location.
New York City
Our New York Metro regional team works in Manhattan in an office not far from Grand Central Station. Five of our 180 colleagues work in this location.
