Demystifying College Admission

This June 22-23, more than 250 alumni and their high school-aged children came to campus for an inside look at the college admission process. College admission can seem daunting, so we partnered with the Office of Admission to support our legacy families — whether or not they are considering William & Mary — and demystify the process and reduce the angst that is often associated with this journey.

Students and parents toured campus, sat on a mock admission committee, attended a workshop on financial aid and heard from admissions professionals from around the country on topics from "Finding your College Fit" to "Making the Tough Decisions." In the evening, prospective students got to know each other — and have fun! — at a bowling social.
