One scholar, one day

Growing up in a place where people didn't go to college, Eboni Brown ’17 never thought she would end up at William & Mary. Now in her senior year at the university, Brown is a Sharpe Community Scholar and the first female African-American president of the Student Assembly. In that role, she had the opportunity to lead W&M's new class of students in their Opening Convocation walk.

According to Brown, she felt prideful during her last Convocation. "I had the very, very unique opportunity of being a student representative and a student leader that helps to usher in an entire new class."
