Office Locations

We work on campus in Williamsburg, VA, of course, but we also have staff working and living across the country including in Washington, DC; Los Angeles, CA; and New York City. Our regional model supports our constituents who live in these parts of the country, so we can bring William & Mary to them. Many positions are eligible for a flexible work schedule.

Alumni House

The Alumni House is recently expanded and renovated. Our alumni engagement team works here on campus and enjoys the beautiful daffodils and views of Zable Stadium.

Discovery I

Affectionately referred to as Disco I, this building is home to most of our executive team, frontline fundraisers, our annual giving team, data analytics, prospect development, finance & administration, and talent; the W&M Investment Trust team is also in this space. Our huge parking lot gives us ample parking! On-campus partners are always happy to come to meet us, since parking is so easy! 

Discovery II

Affectionately referred to as Disco II, this building is home to University Marketing. which includes Marketing and Branding, Digital Marketing, Design, Multimedia, Strategic Events, Strategic Communications, Project Management and Stewardship.  Again, our shared parking with Discovery I provides ample parking. It’s a paved paradise! 

W&M Campus

Many of our Advancement staff work directly with their school or unit colleagues and share office spaces across campus.  This includes the teams for the Raymond A. Mason School of Business, the Marshall Wythe School of Law, the School of Education and the College of Arts & Sciences. 

Outside of Williamsburg

Washington, DC

This office is home to our D.C. Metro regional advancement team as well as our director of career networks. It is moving to the DC Bar Building, between the White House and the Capitol Building in Washington, D.C.   with the W&M Washington Center in early 2022.

Gloucester Point, VA

The Virginia Institute of Marine Science and School of Marine Science (VIMS/ SMS) is a 35-minute drive from campus at Gloucester Point. Our fundraising team for VIMS/SMS works there, so they can be close to VIMS/SMS leadership, faculty, students and research teams. 

Los Angeles, CA

Our Western US Regional Fundraising team works out of floating office space in Southern California. 

New York City

Our New York Metro regional team works in Manhattan in an office not far from Grand Central Station.
