Host a Society Social Where You Live

Looking to connect with Society of 1918 members in your area? Consider hosting or co-hosting a Society Social with support from William & Mary staff. These informal gatherings are a wonderful way to bring members together locally, strengthen relationships and celebrate the W&M community.
Society Socials can be any size and style. Whether you gather five members for coffee or host a group of 25 for an evening reception, each event is an opportunity to connect, learn and enjoy time together with fellow Society members.

The Society of 1918 Engagement Committee helps guide the experience by providing a theme for each gathering. W&M staff support the event by sending invitations, managing RSVPs and providing W&M-branded materials, including name tags. Hosts help select a welcoming location in their community and create a relaxed environment where members can connect.
