Kristina Snyder, Senior Director of Parent & Family Giving, joined William & Mary in February 2026. A Baltimore native, she brings more than a decade of experience in higher education advancement, with a particular focus on parent and family philanthropy. Her background includes ten years at Johns Hopkins University and most recently at the University of Virginia. Kristina earned her degree in History and Secondary Education from Notre Dame of Maryland University.

She is deeply committed to strengthening partnerships between parents, families, and the university, recognizing the vital role parent philanthropy plays in enhancing the overall student experience. Kristina looks forward to working closely with members of the Parent & Family Council, collaborating with campus partners, and engaging university leaders to further advance parent engagement and philanthropic impact in support of all William & Mary students and the broader university community. When she’s not traveling or camping with her husband, she can often be found enjoying the outdoors. Since relocating to Virginia, she’s embraced a new passion as an avid birdwatcher. Go Tribe!
