The Parent & Family Council advances educational and career opportunities, enhances student life and wellbeing, and promotes William & Mary’s distinctive culture of community, tradition and innovation by investing leadership philanthropic support in the Parents Fund and other university priorities.
Areas of Support and Advocacy
Parent & Family Council Goals and Opportunities
- Raise more than $1.25 million for the Parents Fund and encourage families to make philanthropic investments across the university
- Foster connections among all W&M families through events and communications
- Network and connect with one another through the PFC roster and events
- Advocate for families and students during meetings with senior leadership
- Promote university-wide and Student Affairs priorities
- Serve as knowledgeable ambassadors among our networks

An alumni family has established a study abroad scholarship to encourage William & Mary students to explore Spain’s Camino de Santiago.
