Part of Wren Traditions, Tag Day is a program for students by students that strengthens our community and celebrates all that private giving makes possible at William & Mary. Tag Day is our way of saying thank you to all our donors, including the 42,556 donors who gave back last year to help strengthen academic and athletic excellence.
Private giving supports all aspects of campus life. On Tag Day, September 25, 2019, we encourage the campus community to stop by their favorite places on campus and find our yellow tags to see all the ways that William & Mary is impacted by private support. In commemoration of 100 years of coeducation, large banners will also be placed outside of buildings that have been significantly impacted by women donors.
To learn more about Tag Day, visit our tabling locations at Miller from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Sadler from 12 to 3 p.m., and Swem from 3 to 5 p.m. to pick up your Tag Day buttons and stickers. To participate in Tag Day, take a selfie with #wmtagday and share how you have been impacted by private giving.
Thank you for helping make William & Mary extraordinary!
