W&M Launches Groundbreaking Pilot Program in Autonomous Fundraising
William & Mary is excited to announce that we are launching a groundbreaking pilot program in autonomous fundraising, in partnership with Version2.ai design lab & Givzey.
This AI-based approach to fundraising is a significant leap forward in how we — and other nonprofits in the U.S. — might engage with our donors, leveraging cutting-edge technology to enable our community to explore options for giving.
The autonomous fundraiser will help to facilitate giving and serve as a concierge to provide positive philanthropic experiences. Participation is completely voluntary and only those who opt-in will work with the autonomous fundraiser. It is important to us that we are transparent about this process, which is powered completely by AI.
This is an innovative opportunity as we pilot a new frontier in fundraising. If you are interested in participating, please contact Meghan Palombo, associate vice president, annual giving & philanthropic engagement at mdpalombo@wm.edu.
