Challenge Grant from Mary Morton Parsons Foundation to support Reveley Garden project

We are thrilled to announce that William & Mary has received a $350,000 Challenge Grant from the Mary Morton Parsons Foundation in support of the Reveley Garden project. In order for the university to receive the full grant amount, we must raise $700,000 by December 2018.

With your generous support, work can commence as early as fall 2018 to create the Reveley Garden’s terrace, pathways, beds and plantings. Additional funds may also be directed to support a larger campus beautification project that will enhance the greenway between the Reveley Garden and Crim Dell and restore Crim Dell’s beloved pathways and woodland garden of native species. All of these efforts are being undertaken to improve landscape conservation and watershed management, so that the beauty of these spaces will endure.

The cost of the Reveley Garden project is $2 million, and the full campus beautification project will require an additional $1.5 million, for a total of $3.5 million.
